About WebStripper

Offline browser. Copy websites to your hard disk for viewing offline. Fast: downloads many objects at once. Easy to use - just enter the address and off you go. Includes a feature to grab the current address from your browser. Many options to filter what is downloaded by file type/size including text only option. Pause/resume at any point. Easy to update new/changed pages. One-click to launch browser, file explorer or what's new list. Free for personal use.

Year 2000

WebStripper is fully year 2000 compliant. All dates are stored with a four digit year.

Virus checking

WebStripper has been virus checked with the latest version of Norton Antivirus, one of the best anti-virus products available.

Business use/WebStripper Pro

If you want to use WebStripper in a business you must purchase WebStripper Pro, which also removes hte advertising and will soon add extra features.

You may freely redistibute the WebStripper but please pass on the original wbs*.exe file.

Uninstalling WebStripper

From the Start Menu select Settings, then Control Panel. Double click on Add/Remove Programs. In the program list scroll down to WebStripper and select it. Click on Add/Remove and follow the on-screen instructions.
